9:33a	Why Alexander Downer has a massive cock on his head In April, Downer delivered his 'Monash Lecture', in which he said that "I think you have to face up to the fact that, within the APEC group, there are economies, and it's really a Kyoto point again, that believe in setting carbon dioxide emission targets, by particular dates. Some of them, of course, are just aspirational targets which is code for "a political stunt". An aspirational target is not a real target at all". What has Howard been preaching for APEC, and his election campaign? An 'Aspirational Target'. Without setting the target until after the election. So don't forget, even Downer, Howard's absolute lackey, admits that it's all a big political stunt. (Comment on this)
